Tennis is a great game! It is fun and good exercise for players of all levels and you can play for almost your entire lifetime. There is also great comraderie with your fellow players whether from a memorable singles match or from a regular group who play doubles together.
Gaining more skills and consistency also adds a huge amount to your enjoyment of the game. Learning tennis or improving your skills is also much easier than you might think as tennis strokes are actually pretty simple and you don't even have to be very athletic. The more you play, however, the more athletic and capable you will be and will result in a lifetime of a fun and very healthy activity.
Classic Strokes Tennis Lessons can help you on your way with good technique, simple and reliable strokes for consistent shots, and general strategies for playing better tennis.
We help people learn or improve at tennis!
With beginners, we teach great fundamentals combining good footwork and simple and consistently repeatable strokes. Our objective is to get you out on the courts with new tennis playing friends as soon as you can. The great fundamentals that we teach will also allow you to get better and better the more you play so that you don't need any more lessons (not good for us but you will be having fun!)
For intermediate players (2.5 to 3.5 rated), we can help you simplify and tune up your strokes. Consistent shots come from consistent strokes and good footwork and we may be able to show you a whole new way to think about playing tennis. We can also hit lots of different kinds of shots to you to make your overall game much more versatile and capable.
For a more advanced player (4.0 level), I can be a pretty good practice partner if there are parts of your game that you want to work on. My own good strokes and strong serve can hit you a wide variety of shots for you to work on your game and further improve things like volleys and serve returns.
Please feel free to use our contact form, or email us at klwinsf@yahoo.com, or call 415-373-8236 if you have any questions or would like to schedule a lesson.
Also, the location is very convenient for most of San Francisco as we use a private court that is about three blocks north of the Civic Center (on Franklin between Turk and Eddy)and a map is on our contact page. We can give lessons at a court of your choice, however, but there is a minimum $10 surcharge per lesson for the additional time and transportation expense.
